I’m so very square.

This site rates your blog (thanks  Lou, who got an NC-17, btw, for his pottie-mouth … er … pottie-posts). I got a “G” because I used the word “shoot.”

That is ridiculous. Especially considering how much cussing I do in real life. I cuss so much that I have begun to blend my curse words together because it saves time. I can say “shass!” and kill two curse words with one stone. Or “futch!” However, ”hamn!” “buck!” and “fit!” don’t really work.

I much prefer not to cuss in writing. I feel like “crap” and “crud” and “carn sarn it” have a much bigger impact in print for some reason. Cussing is a much better verbal tool because you can include as much impact as you want. In print, you basically have these -> !!!! you can use. And let’s face it. Ever since the Internet started, we’ve been using WAY too many of these !!!!!  It’s like we think the more we use, the bigger difference it’s going to make. No. Not so much.

Using just one is good! Using more than one is just wasteful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And distracting. And abusive.
