Frogtography

They sort of look like dalmatians, except they’re a million times smaller, live in water and do not resemble dogs at all …

This is my Christmas gift from my daughters - who are also small and do not resemble dogs, but do, incidently, live in water. Well, they drink it. Same dif.

These are tropical frog-somethings that live in a small frog residence on my desk. Their apartment is sustainable - I’m only supposed to have to clean it once a year because it comes with a snail that likes to eat slimy build up and it comes with magic rocks which clean frog poo.

Oh. That I could find rocks and snails like that for my own home. Oh.

I have become very attached to these frogs, which basically do nothing all day but just “be.” They simply sit there and hang, suspended in mid-water, in complete frog bliss. They are masters of calm and contentment. I have named them “Zen” and “Ohm” because of their consistent state of calm delight. I want to live in this froggy peace with rocks that filter my poo.

Wait … forget that last part.

Frog apartment - which I am, right now, deciding whether to name “Melrose Place” or “Stars Hollow” - is located just in front of my keyboard and right beside artist model who came to live in my office several months ago.

In other words, the last time I posted on my blog.

Artist model has no face, but is bendy and that’s why we like him. Or her. Or whatever. He/she/it is protector of all frog things and allows me (and others - you know who you are) to place him/her/them in obscene positions in order to tell the world to bite certain parts or suck it.

Oh hush. It’s better than having the frogs do it.

Soon, very … I shall have a new category for artist model and all his/hers/their poses.

For now, I leave you with a new pic in an old standby category - Cats.

This is Crush and Codah in my newly refurbished bedroom, which now looks cozy and quaint, despite the fact that it has flooded four times in the last two months and has been completely redecorated.

Yeah. You thought I was being blog-o-lazy.

Well, maybe.

The frogs make it look fun.
